Choosing a school for your child is among the most important decisions you will ever make. You want to know your children are safe when you drop them off, that their teachers treat them with respect, and that they make friends and have fun at school. You want them to be intellectually challenged to think, create, read, write, and discover in a learning environment that teaches traditional values and prepares them for a vibrant future.
Messiah Montessori School exists so that you can give the great gift of education to your child—a gift they will cherish all their lives and can never be taken away. My wife, Andi Hardy Jory, and I created Messiah Montessori School to be the kind of school we want for our own children.
Andi and I are professional educators. Andi holds a Masters Degree in Education, specializing in Contemporary Montessori Education, and is a Georgia Certified Teacher in Math and Science. I hold a Doctorate in Child and Family Development, and teach about children and families in a first-rate local college. Working together, we have forty years of experience educating children and watching them go on to great things in life. We work with parents to decide what is best for educating the children at Messiah Montessori, unlike some private schools that are franchised by out-of-state corporation.
So welcome to Messiah Montessori School. We invite you to learn more about Montessori--visit the school, meet with Andi, and talk to the teachers and parents. Attend a parent education session. As you learn more, I hope you will discover the Montessori difference for your child.

Messiah Montessori is affiliated with the American Montessori Society (AMS). We are registered as an Associate Member School with AMS. Since 1960, the AMS has been dedicated to encouraging and supporting the use of the Montessori teaching approach in private and public schools.
Did you know that the term "Montessori" is not a registered trademark? Any school can use its name and claim to be a Montessori school even if it doesn't offer any Montessori approved curriculum. Because of our affiliation with AMS, you can rest assured that the education at Messiah Montessori School is based upon the American Montessori Society standards -- the largest Montessori organization in the world. Field Day at Messiah Montessori
Messiah Montessori School was created in 2005 by Andi Hardy Jory, M.Ed. and Brian Jory, PhD. After several years of planning, Andi and Brian opened the doors of Messiah Montessori School in August 2005 with ten students and two teachers. A local church kindly supported our beginnings and allowed us to rent two rooms within their building.
It didn’t take long to outgrow that space, Messiah Montessori School continued to add students and teachers. Property was purchased in December 2006 to fulfill the need for more space. While our current building was under construction another local church graciously supported our growth by allowing us to place modular buildings on their campus for the 2007 – 2008 school year. The current beautiful school building began occupancy in July 2008. Return to Top
