Every child deserves the right start in life. The mission of Messiah Montessori School is to inspire every child who comes to us with a love for learning that is grounded in intelligent self-confidence, compassion for others, and spiritual awareness that will carry the child into a fulfilling, productive adulthood.
The Pre-Primary Program is designed for children ages 24 months to three years of age. Students have the option of attending full time or part time. A full day of instruction is 8:15 am to 2:30 pm; half day is 8:15 am to 11:30 am. Students may attend all five days of the week. However, in the Pre-Primary Program, students may attend three days (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) or two days (Tuesday and Thursday).
The Pre-Primary Program subjects include: practical life skills, sensorial skills, pre-mathematics, pre-reading, introduction to geometry, introduction to geography, art, music, story time, fine motor skills, gross motor skills and socialization skills. Pre-Primary children also are introduced to conversational Spanish and American Sign Language.
The Primary Program includes pre-school and kindergarten--children ages three, four and five. The Primary Program is offered as a five day program. By the time children are three, they are ready to attend school all five days of the week. Routine is important to developing skills and friendships, as well as gaining independence. A full day of instruction is 8:15 am to 2:30 pm.
The Primary Program subjects include: mathematics, geometry, reading, writing, spelling, grammar, science (zoology, botany, astronomy), geography, technology, art, music, drama, Spanish, physical education, spiritual life and prayer, socialization skills, and practical life skills.

The Elementary Program includes grades one, two and three--children ages six, seven, eight, and nine. The Elementary Program is a five-day program. Students attend school for a full day of instruction 8:15 am to 3:00 pm.
The Elementary Programs both include higher levels of the Primary subjects: : mathematics, geometry, reading, writing, spelling, grammar, science (zoology, botany, astronomy, physical sciences), geography, technology, art, music, drama, Spanish, physical education, spiritual life and prayer, socialization skills, and practical life skills.
Field trips are an important component of the Elementary Programs as they give children enriched learning opportunities in a social atmosphere. The Elementary classes learn to be citizens of the world by volunteering, raising funds, and corresponding with the elderly.
The Upper Elementary Program includes grades four, five and six--children ages nine, ten, eleven, and twelve. The Upper Elementary Program is a five-day program. Students attend school for a full day of instruction 8:15 am to 3:00 pm.

The Extended Day Program is for working families that need additional care for their children past the Montessori school day. Messiah Montessori School opens at 7:00 A.M. and closes at 5:30 P.M. In the early morning between 7:00 and 8:15 children are well cared for while involved in calm activities such as drawing, story-time, board games, and building blocks.
After the Montessori day between 2:30 and 5:30 children are involved in well-structured learning and socializing activities that complement their school day.
Each day of the week presents a specific feature activity (extra curricular activity): Mondays – Cooking class, Tuesdays – Spanish Club, Wednesdays – Drama and Cheer/Tumbling, Thursdays – Sports and Games, Fridays – Art.
After the feature activity children have snack, free play recess, arts and crafts, story time, music and movement, game time, and free play. The Extended Day Program is coordinated by a non-classroom teacher who specializes and dedicates her time to making this Program unique and of top quality.

Messiah Montessori School offers in-house extra curricular activities to enrolled students. For an additional fee, children enrolled in the Full Day program may stay after school to participate and children enrolled in the Half Day program may return to school to participate. Each day of the week entails a different extra curricular activity.
